"My order did get here on…"
My order did get here on time, which I appreciated, but the packaging really bothered me. The photo book was just kind of loose in the box with barely any padding, so a couple of the corners ended up bent. Customer service did offer to reprint it, which was nice, but it was still frustrating because it was supposed to be a gift and I didn’t want to deal with that extra hassle. I just wish they took more care with packing things

"Nice results, but the editor can test your patience"
I’ve used Shutterfly a handful of times for photo books and cards, and overall it gets the job done. The final products usually look nice, and there are plenty of design options to choose from. But the editing tools can be a little frustrating. You’d think moving a text box or lining things up would be smoother by now, but sometimes boxes jump around or take forever to place just right. It’s not terrible, but it does feel like they could make the process a lot less clunky. I’d still use it again, just only when I’m in the mood to be patient...

Checkout went smooth for me, and the steps was easy to follow. I did have to double-check the shipping price before I paid, but it wasn’t anything too confusing. My order went through fine, and I got the confirmation right away

"Colors came out surprisingly true"
I’m usually skeptical when companies say the print will match what you see on your screen, because that kind of polished promise is usually doing a lot of work. But my photo book came out almost exactly like it looked on my monitor. The skin tones were natural too, not weird or overly warm. I’m really happy with how it turned out.

"Not as reliable as it used to be"
I’ve used Shutterfly for years and always thought it was a good place to keep and order photos, but lately my account has been acting odd. I’ll get randomly logged out, albums sometimes take forever to load, and there were even a few photos that looked like they had disappeared. They did show back up later, but that’s not something I want to worry about with important pictures. For casual stuff it’s probably fine, but I don’t really trust it anymore as my main place to store memories

My photo book got here when they said it was going to, so that was good. The box was in fine shape too, not all messed up or anything. Delivery-wise, I don’t really have much to complain about, which is nice...

"Looked better than it worked"
I expected the website to be easy to use since it looked clean and modern, but it ended up being more frustrating than I thought. My uploads froze a couple of times, editing photos felt kind of sluggish, and I kept having to hunt around for buttons that seemed to move or disappear. Checkout wasn’t great either, with too many popups getting in the way. I did manage to finish my order, but it took way longer than I expected

"I ordered a photo book thinking it…"
I ordered a photo book thinking it would get here in time, and... yeah, it didn’t. The shipping was way slower than I expected, and the tracking barely updated, which made it even more frustrating because I kept checking like, okay, is it moving or not? It ended up arriving after I actually needed it. The photo book itself was fine, no real complaints there, but the delivery part was disappointing. I’m not sure I’d order again if I needed something by a specific date.

"Still holding up after a year"
I’m impressed that this photo book still looks good after my kids have been flipping through it all year. The pages and cover have held up better than I expected. Has anyone else had theirs get a little worn on the corners, or is that just from my kids being rough with it?

"Nice photo book, even if I fussed over it a bit"
I used Shutterfly to make a photo book, i thought the design templates were solid. There were a lot of styles to choose from, and most of them looked clean without me having to do much. I’m not always the best at making design decisions, so I did second-guess myself a few times, especially when some layouts started to feel kind of similar. A few were also harder to customize than I expected, which made me wonder if I was just missing something. Still, it saved me a lot of time, and the finished book turned out really nice.

"Wrong cards at first, but it got sorted"
I opened the package and realized I’d been sent someone else’s cards, which was confusing for a minute. Support did fix it in the end, so that was good, though it took a bit longer than I expected. Not the worst experience, just kind of annoying while I was waiting and wondering what happened to my actual order.

"Good value if you catch a coupon"
I’ve ordered from shutterfly a handful of times, mostly for photo books and prints, and I’ve been happy with it overall. The quality was better than I expected for the price, especially when there’s a coupon or promo going on. I probably wouldn’t call it the absolute cheapest once shipping is added, because that can sneak up a bit, but if you’re ordering during a sale, it feels worth it. For casual gifts or keeping family photos organized, I’d use them again.

"My order showed up all messed…"
My order showed up all messed up, and support kept saying they’d send a replacement, then somehow it turned into store credit instead. That whole refund thing was supposedly processing for weeks, but I had to keep chasing them just to find out what was going on. After all that, I’m definitely not ordering from here again...

"Felt a bit like a bait and switch"
I was excited because the templates looked really nice at first, but once I started actually trying to customize them, it felt way more locked down than I expected. I wanted more control over the layout and where the text goes, but a lot of those options just weren’t there. It kind of gave me that bait and switch feeling, like it looks flexible upfront but isn’t as personal or editable once you’re in it. For the price, that was frustrating

I’ve tried using their codes at checkout a few times now, and they fail every single time. Not sure who’s in charge of keeping them updated, but it’s frustrating when you expect a discount and then get stuck paying full price.

"I was excited when I placed…"
I was excited when I placed the order, but by the time the cards finally arrived late, I was already annoyed. They were okay once they got here, but the delay kind of ruined the experience for me. I don’t think I’ll be ordering again anytime soon

"Lots of options, but kinda all over the place"
Shutterfly has a ton of stuff, like photo books, cards, mugs, calendars, all that kind of thing. I do like having choices, but sometimes it feels like there are way too many similar things and I’m just clicking around forever. Some of the designs are really cute, and then some feel a little dated to me. I kinda wish the gift section was easier to sort through and just laid out better. It’s not bad at all, just not the easiest when you’re trying to find something quick.
